Pivot table
Sums, counts, means, medians, min, max, and percents, with the same weights and letters as a banner.

When to use it
Use a pivot table when the grid is not a stub-and-banner book: you want a sum, a count, a mean, a median, a min or max, or a percent, with rows, columns, and a filter you drop in yourself. A client banner with letters on column proportions is a banner table.

Reading the output
The grid is the pivot: each cell is the aggregation you chose, weighted the same way as a banner when a weight is on the table. Significance letters appear only when that aggregation supports them. The on-screen grid shows a window of rows. Export includes the full table, as CSV or Excel.
Coming from SPSS
SPSS is Analyze → Tables → Custom Tables, or a pivot in Excel. Tensr’s item is Analyze → Tables → Pivot table, next to Custom Tables and the banner book.
